Students will have the opportunity to take learning into your own hands by engaging Universe Sandbox, creating models, and exploring science like never before.  The focus of math lessons are to help students to make connections between their academic learning and the real world.  Students participate in challenging, but engaging electives throughout the year to help support growth in GreenWood's HEALTH values.

a little about me

Email >

I was born in Southern California and enjoyed going to the beach and visiting the mountains above San Bernardino. I moved to Utah with my family in the 6th grade and started to learn to enjoy the winter weather. As a teenager, I got into rock climbing and canyoneering.

I am a Utah State graduate. I worked as a Park Ranger for the Park Service for a number of years following college. I spent a year doing research with Utah State and the Forrest Service in the Alpine Loop area above American Fork.

I decided to change careers and started a Masters of Education program at Weber State University. I’ve been teaching for 5 years and I’m excited to come to Greenwood.
