Utah Juniper Classroom
2ND GRADE
Welcome to 2nd Grade! We are thrilled to have you join us as we learn and grow! In 2nd grade we explore and learn in many different ways with a focus on FUN with purpose!
Throughout the year, all second grade students will become more experienced readers, researchers, and writers as they explore the world around them, as well as the earth long ago, through Expeditionary Learning.
We learn in complex ways and strive to build an appreciation for learning across all subjects!

Why Ms. Jill is So Bomb.com!

I had Ms. Jill as my teacher for first and second grade. I can tell you that any kid would love
being in her classroom because she makes learning fun!
Ms. Jill fills her classroom with positivity. She always cheers her students on which helps them
build grit and confidence. She cares about her students and won’t leave anybody behind. She
uses creative ideas to help her students learn and be happy. Students will feel inspired in her
classroom to do their best!
Ms. Jill helped make reading fun by bringing her friendly dog Charlie to the classroom. Charlie is a great reading buddy! Charlie is such a good dog he gives the classroom a comforting feeling that helps keep students calm. I felt I could trust Ms. Jill and she is a good person to come to with a problem. She helps her students get through tough times in school and she always gives good advice.
Even though Ms. Jill is not my teacher anymore, I still love to visit her and feel happy whenever I get to see her.
This is where fun stuff happens.
