Jessica Hancock

School Therapist

I completed my bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Studies and my master's degree in Social Work. I have worked with children in various positions, most recently as a mental health counselor at Youth Futures, a homeless youth shelter, and in private practice. Throughout my career, I have fostered a supportive, trusting, and nurturing environment that encourages growth and empowerment.

I have been trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With a deep passion for supporting students' mental well-being, I have dedicated my career to helping young individuals overcome various emotional and behavioral challenges.

Outside work, I enjoy reading, baking, and hanging out with my family. I’m an animal lover and have two dogs, three cats, and a hedgehog.
